STATEMENT OF QUALITY POLICY
The Quality Assurance Policy of the Department of History and Archeology is fully harmonized with the Quality Policy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), making the Department of History and Archeology fully committed to providing high quality Greek and foreign language higher education services, organizing and implementing Study Programs at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral level of high academic standards and significant added value, both in Greek and English, in the most important areas and fields of History and Archaeology.
The Department also seeks to develop a creative research environment ensuring freedom of academic expression and work for all its staff and members of the academic community. The Department of History and Archeology is committed to the implementation of this quality policy in the PSP "Archaeology and History of the Ancient World: from Remote Prehistory to Late Antiquity" it offers and will offer in the future, implementing the NKUA’s quality assurance procedures, as provided by the ΕΣΔΠ, aiming at its continuous improvement.
Through this Quality Policy, the academic profile and orientation of the Postgraduate Study Program in question is strengthened, its purpose and object are promoted, as well as the implementation of specific goals set each year, while the means and methods of achieving the above are determined and the participation of interested parties in its evaluation and redesign processes is ensured.
